Role Nature
A Family Legacy Coach is a professional role operating within the governance framework of GovernanceBridge. Anchored in a stewardship-oriented philosophy, and within the Platform’s governance framework and rules-based boundaries, the role is limited to structural support and coordinative continuity—supporting families in advancing long-term governance matters and legacy-related continuity across jurisdictions and professional domains through communication, organization, and coordination.
Family Legacy Coaches serve in a family office–like support role that emphasizes continuity, coordination, and structural support—rather than asset management, investment decision-making, or fiduciary control.
Family Legacy Coaches do not act, on behalf of the Platform, as trustees, investment advisers, or asset managers, and do not make legal, tax, insurance, or investment decisions for clients. In their Platform capacity, they operate as non-regulated platform professionals subject to the Platform’s governance documents and rules-based boundaries.
Family Legacy Coaches may separately act in regulated professional capacities outside the Platform through their own professional entities. In such cases, their regulated activities remain strictly separated from their Platform role and do not represent the Platform.
Core Responsibilities
Within the Platform’s governance framework, the core responsibilities include:
supporting families in understanding cross-border legacy and governance structures at the governance layer;
facilitating the progression of governance initiatives and enabling effective communication among family members and professional institutions;
providing structural coordination support among legal, tax, trust, insurance, and other professional service providers, preserving role clarity and functional separation; and
maintaining continuity in governance support to preserve structural stability and long-term coordination across jurisdictions.
These responsibilities are structural and coordinative in nature and do not involve professional decision-making or transactional execution.
Governance Position
Family Legacy Coaches:
do not exercise governance authority on behalf of the Platform;
do not provide regulated professional services on behalf of the Platform;
do not execute transactions or make investment decisions; and
do not act as agents or representatives of professional service providers.
All Platform-related activities are conducted within role definitions and rules-based boundaries established by the Platform’s governance framework.
Relationship to Platform Services and Business Model
