Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the highest governance body of GovernanceBridge and bears ultimate responsibility for the Platform’s long-term positioning, governance principles, and rules-based boundaries.

The Board’s responsibilities include, without limitation:

affirming and safeguarding the Platform’s constitutional positioning as a non-sales, non-transactional, and non-commission-based governance support platform;
reviewing and approving core governance policies, compliance frameworks, and key governance instruments;
overseeing management performance to ensure alignment with the Platform’s mission, values, and defined boundaries; and
exercising final governance judgment in situations involving positioning conflicts, role ambiguity, or significant reputational risk.

The Board does not participate in individual client matters, professional determinations, transaction decisions, or commercial negotiations. Its role is limited to governance, oversight, and institutional decision-making.

Practices:
Greg is the Secretary of the Board of Directors of TrustBridge Global. He is a highly experienced gift planning attorney at the one of the leading DAF organizations and, previously, co-founder of a private law firm providing gift and estate planning services to high net worth families and individuals. He is a frequent presenter at seminars and charitable gift planning forums, where he is well-respected for his innovative approaches and strategic thinking. He is a graduate of Wheaton College and Vanderbilt University School of Law.

Andy Toles

Practices:
Andy Toles is building high-trust networks in Asia, North America, and the Middle East. For 25 years, he practiced law as an attorney with the Seattle firm, Ellis, Li & McKinstry, counseling clients regarding wills and trusts, legacy planning, and charitable giving. Starting in 2012, Andy played an instrumental role in the founding of TrustBridge Global Foundation, serving on the board of directors and as president of Global Generosity Foundation, its predecessor organization. In that role, Andy visited China quarterly for five years building relationships in furtherance of the global generosity movement.

Community Involvement:
Christian Legal Society, a group of lawyers and law students in the U.S., played a key role in Andy’s professional development. He formed new chapters while in college and in law school, served as president of the Seattle attorney chapter for years, and was privileged to be on the national board of directors.
For 16 years, including eight as chairman, Andy was on the board of Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, one of the city’s largest charities serving the poor and homeless community. Andy led the effort to launch a legal aid clinic there in 1999, Open Door Legal Services, which continues to help those in need.
In 2005, Andy incorporated and for eight years served as Chairman of National Christian Foundation Northwest headquartered in Seattle. He continues to enjoy meaningful friendships among the NCF family locally and nationally.
For about four years, Andy was the China Representative of the International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy (AiP). On behalf of AiP, Andy was privileged to support and partner with several of China’s emerging leaders in philanthropy and charitable giving.

Kay FANG

Kay possesses bar qualifications of both China and the State of California. She is also a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) accredited by the American Bankers Association, and TEP member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) of UK.
With over twenty years of legal practice in China, Kay previously served as General Counsel to a Fortune Global 500 company. She has extensive experience advising on complex corporate matters and cross-border legal issues. In recent years, her practice has focused on trust and estate planning, with particular emphasis on international wealth structuring and gifting strategies.

In the field of family affairs, Mr. Li provides litigation and non-litigation services in matrimonial, inheritance and other family cases. He is adept at delivering comprehensive and balanced solutions for clients with multi-jurisdictional backgrounds and diverse asset types.
In the field of wealth planning, Mr. Li focuses on providing comprehensive wealth planning legal services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. He pays particular attention to compliance coordination and structural adaptation for Chinese clients’ family succession frameworks under the CRS and FATCA regimes. His expertise covers family trust (specializing in US trusts and domestic equity family trusts), charitable planning (specializing in equity donations and equity charitable trusts), and the application of Donor-Advised Funds (DAF) within family legacy strategies.
Furthermore, leveraging his professional background in asset management, Mr. Li provides integrated solutions from a global perspective, encompassing legal services, financial services, and the design of global equity, investment, and financing structures for both individual clients and their family enterprises.
